Music from Sander Van Doorn

"The big difference from last year is that more people are coming to clubs specifically to see me play," reflects Dutchman Sander Van Doorn.
Continuing his rapid ascent, it has been another year of firsts for Sander. He promoted his first night in Miami, enjoyed a massively successful debut Australian tour and became the first guest DJ to play every week for a month at London's hallowed Gallery.
"That experience really pushed me to keep things fresh and hunt out new tracks," he says. "One week I played more housey, the other more trancey, the other more techy. I really had to push my versatility over the four weeks to keep things fresh."

Indeed, Sander's initial 'saviour of tech-trance' tag is no more. A progression of deep, lulling minimal right through to house grooves, electro belters and tech whirlwinds, Sander's extended sets are covering all grounds.
"Playing Pacha New York really opened me up on the house side of things," he reveals. "I'm trying to tie up America residencies at Pacha, Space in Miami and Boston's Avalon, which is unreal."

Next year will see the release of Sander's untitled artist album whilst the first single on his new Doorn label - the powering 'Riff' - comes accompanied with a remix from none other than Carl Cox.
